Need help with something? Here are our most frequently asked questions.
Some parents start their children in skates as soon as they can walk, but the recommended age to begin ice skating lessons is around five years old.
Our smallest skates size is UK Kid's 8/EU Kid's 25/15cm and biggest skates size is UK 13/EU 48/31cm.
We recommend wearing comfortable, warm clothing such as long-sleeved shirts, light jackets, and long pants to ensure both warmth and safety. Additionally, thick socks and gloves are essential—gloves are particularly important for young children, providing extra comfort and protection while skating.

For your convenience, protection gear rental services are available. Please refer to the outlet counter for more information.
Lockers are available for customer use at the outlet. However, please be aware that a service fee will apply for manual unlocking if the password is forgotten.
Like any sport, ice skating involves some level of risk, but with supervision from our marshals, the environment is carefully managed for safety. Additionally, we offer coaching and mentoring services from our experienced instructors to further enhance your skills and confidence on the ice.

Ice Area Rules

Kindly follow the rules below. Ignoring the rules will make you lose your privilege to enter the ice area.
  • Always obey the rink guards' instructions.
  • Wear socks, gloves, and skates properly before entering the rink.
  • Hold on to the dasher board (railing) and enter the rink cautiously.
  • Always skate in an anti-clockwise direction and follow the demarcation of the ice rink.
  • Skate according to the designated area; class zone is only for students.
  • Skate backwards responsibly.
  • Use mobile electronic gadgets at your own risk, but no headphones and earphones.
  • Do not eat or drink on the ice.
  • Do not play tag or similar games.
  • Do not speed excessively or weave through other skaters.
  • Do not make or throw ice balls.
  • Do not hold hands with more than two people.
  • Do not use ice hockey sticks, pucks, speed skates, or curling stones during public sessions.
  • Do not sit or lay on the ice.
  • Do not carry children or bags while skating.
  • Do not throw any object onto the ice rink.
  • Do not chip or kick holes in the ice.
  • Do not sit or climb on the dasher wall.
  • Do not enter unauthorized areas.
  • Do not litter.

Skating Direction

The skating direction will be anticlockwise as the image shown below:

Skating Academy Rules

Kindly follow the rules below.
  • Students are required to arrive at least 30 minutes before class starts for preparation.
  • Walk-in lessons are limited to one entry per student.
  • Classes start and end on time. No additional time will be given for lateness.
  • Inform the academy staff or coach of any class changes at least 1 day before the scheduled lesson.
  • Absence without prior notice will result in a forfeited class with no make-up option.
  • For semi-private and group classes with more than 1 student, no make-up class will be given for absent students.
  • All lesson packages are non-refundable and non-transferable once the class starts.
  • Hockey students cannot play with sticks, pucks, or balls in the public waiting area.
  • Parents must bring their parent's card to send skaters in.
  • Accidents can occur during lessons, at both basic and freestyle levels. Parents should acknowledge this risk before signing up.

Bench Rules

Kindly follow the rules below.
  • Skaters and parents are not allowed to enter the bench area without permission from management or coach.
  • Please do not leave your belongings inside the bench area.
  • Please do not play with the bench area entrance.
  • Eating or drinking inside the bench area is not allowed.

Locker Guide

Kindly follow the guides below.
  • Set 4-digit code and ensure the knob is on “Open” position.
  • Turn the knob to “Close” position and clear the password to lock.
  • Eating or drinking inside the ice area.
  • Playing tag or any kind of similar games.
  • Excessive speeding or weaving through other skaters.
  • Making and/or throwing snowballs at other skaters.
  • Holding hands with more than 2 people.
  • Using ice hockey sticks or pucks outside the coned area.
  • Wearing speed skates during public hours.
  • Entering the coned area while you are not having a lesson.
  • Using mobile phones, earphones, cameras or any other electronic devices.
  • Sitting or laying on the ice.
  • Carrying children or bags.
  • Throwing any objects from outside of the rink.
  • Chipping or kicking holes on the ice.
  • Sitting or climbing on the dasher boards.
  • Entering the bench area.
  • Littering.
  • RM5 admin fee will be imposed to unlock lock manually if the password is forgotten.

Disregard of the rules below may result in loss of skating privileges. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and likewise amend these rules at our own discretion.
  • The management of Blue Ice Skating Rink will not to be held liable for any injury within Blue Ice Skating Rink caused to self or by others.
  • The management of Blue Ice Skating Rink will not be held responsible for any belongings lost, stolen or damaged within the premises of Blue Ice Skating Rink.
  • The management of Blue Ice Skating Rink reserve the right to amend price and rules at our own discretion.
  • Smoking anywhere inside this facility is strictly prohibited.
  • Proper dressing and behavior is mandatory at all times.
  • Please keep your tickets at all times while in this facility.
  • Socks and gloves are compulsory.
  • Rental skates must be returned to our skate counter after use.
  • No running in the public areas with or without your skates on.
  • Skating too fast.
  • Going on the ice with street shoes.
  • Skating in opposite direction of the traffic flow.
  • Weaving in and out of skaters.
  • Fast, sudden starts and stops.
  • Uncontrolled or reckless backward skating.
  • Skating abreast with more than 2 people.
  • Throwing objects onto the ice.
  • Bringing food and drinks onto the ice.
  • Bringing items like phone, camera, handbags on ice without permission.
